McDonald Manager snapped and beat-up employee

A 17-year-old fast food employee says he was beaten by a manager Monday at the McDonald's on Austin Peay near the Raleigh Springs Mall.

"He had grabbed me from behind and started punching me in the face," says Jarelle Gray. "He had me in a headlock. I tried to grab his legs when he was kneeing me."

Gray, a Bolton High School Senior, has been released from the hospital and is recovering at home. He has a broken nose and his right eye is swollen shut. He also has cuts on his lip, face and forehead.

Gray says a supervisor called him Sunday night to work the overnight shift from 10:00 p.m. Sunday until 5:00 a.m. Monday.

Gray says the supervisor promised him a free meal and an extra $30 to cover the shift. Gray says the morning manager arrived 30 minutes after five, a half hour after his shift was supposed to end. He says the manager asked him to stay longer. Gray says he was tired, and decided to clock out and go home.

When he grabbed the free meal he says he was promised, Gray says the manager lost it, and went on the attack.

Gray says there were three officers eating at the McDonald's at the time of the attack. He says the officers told him they didn't see him getting beaten. An ambulance was called, and Gray was taken to St. Francis Hospital.

We went to the manager's home to ask him questions about the incident, but he told us he had no comment, and then shut the door.

Gray's father, Jerome Gray, says his son is a good kid who was holding down a job, saving money and preparing to go to college. "To see him get victimized by trying to do the right thing, is heartbreaking," says Jerome.

Memphis Police say the incident is listed as a simple assault case. It's unclear whether the manger has been charged at this point. More information should become available once the police report is released Tuesday.

The McDonald's Franchisee Released the following statement to WREG:

"Providing our employees with a safe, positive work environment is a top priority for our organization. We are disturbed by this situation, as anyone would be in similar circumstances. We wish the employee a quick and speedy recovery.

We have zero tolerance for this type of behavior in our restaurants. Upon learning about these allegations, we took immediate action to gather the facts. The alleged behavior of the individual in question is not reflective of our employees or organization, and we have taken action consistent our employment policies. The individual in question has been suspended pending further investigation.

We require all employees to abide by the law, as well as by our stringent employment policies."

I wish that this case was as easy as it looks, considering that this young man has a fat lip, broken nose and closed eye. Although as you look at it why would an adult just thrash a juvenile with so much intensity? So many unanswered questions as to what really happen but for the most part whatever happened it does not matter because the manager violated company protocol... The manager will be fired and McDonald's will be sued. McDonald's will settle out of court for an undisclosed amount and this case will eventually go away... But they will pay!!!

In April 2009, Hamilton told her boss at Southland Christian School in St. Cloud, Fla., that she was pregnant and planned to take a six-week leave in October. When asked when she conceived, Hamilton answered honestly: She became pregnant just three weeks prior to her Feb. 20 wedding.

That was enough to get her fired under the school's strict morality rules, which prohibit teachers from "fornication," engaging in sex before marriage.

"Jaretta was asked not to return because of a moral issue that was disregarded, namely fornication, sex outside marriage," administrator Julie Ennis wrote in a letter to Hamilton's lawyer.

Now, Hamilton is suing the school in federal court, seeking damages for lost wages and emotional distress.

"She was incredibly upset about being fired," Hamilton's lawyer Edward Gay told ABCNews.com. "She was upset that she wasn't able to complete the term with less than two months left in the school year and upset that her fourth graders were told about this."

According to Gay, Hamilton filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, but opted out of mediation and chose instead to file suit because of the commission's lengthy backlog.

According to the complaint, Hamilton is suing under federal gender discrimination laws, a state marriage discrimination law and for violations of her privacy.

"The school told the students and their parents why Hamilton had been fired. Disclosing that kind of personal information was a violation of her privacy," Gay said.

"There were never any complaints about her teaching. The school said she was an outstanding teacher," he added.

The school does not dispute the reasons for firing Hamilton, calling sex outside of marriage "an immoral action," but argues that her termination does not rise to discrimination because it employs other pregnant women.

Lebron still needs help!

The reason that Le Bron still needs help is that King James can not do it by himself! No NBA champs have ever won it with one superstar. You see although James has a good supporting cast, lets face it, who are they? So if you have to think about it then my point is made.

Just to give you an ideal what I am talking about Magic had Worthy, Jordan had Pippen, and Bird had McHale. I am not saying run out an get a super star that's going to compete with James, but someone to compliment his style. When you have Hall of Fame rs, they also create them as well!

Some people could not understand the firing of the coach (Mike Brown) and GM Danny Ferry because they had winning seasons. Think about it this way, when the Bulls fired Doug Collins the team had a winning season as well, but they were not wining championships so they had to lets him go. Although after they hired Phil Jackson the rest was history! It was win win for everyone.

You see finding a player is not enough, finding a player to help you win is not only what you want but what you need as well. We can continue to reap profits from the Blacks without the effort of physical slavery. Look at the current methods of containment that they use on themselves: IGNORANCE, GREED, and SELFISHNESS.

Their IGNORANCE is the primary weapon of containment. A great man once said, 'The best way to hide something from Black people is to put it in a book..' We now live in the Information Age .. They have gained the opportunity to read any book on any subject through the efforts of their fight for freedom , yet they refuse to read. There are numerous books readily available at Borders, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon.com, not to mention their own Black Bookstores that provide solid blueprints to reach economic equality (which should have been their fight all along), but few read consistently, if at all.

GREED is another powerful weapon of containment. Blacks, since the abolition of slavery, have had large amounts of money at their disposal. Last year they spent 10 billion dollars during Christmas, out of their 450 billion dollars in total yearly income (2.22%).

Any of us can use them as our target market, for any business venture we care to dream up, no matter how outlandish, they will buy into it. Being primarily a consumer people, they function totally by greed. They continually want more, with little thought for saving or investing.

They would rather buy some new sneaker than invest in starting a business. Some even neglect their children to have the latest Tommy or FUBU, And they still think that having a Mercedes, and a big house gives them 'Status' or that they have achieved their Dream.

They are fools! The vast majority of their people are still in poverty because their greed holds them back from collectively making better communities.

With the help of BET, and the rest of their black media that often broadcasts destructive images into their own homes, we will continue to see huge profits like those of Tommy and Nike. (Tommy Hilfiger has even jeered them, saying he doesn't want their money, and look at how the fools spend more with him than ever before!). They'll continue to show off to each other while we build solid communities with the profits from our businesses that we market to them.

SELFISHNESS, ingrained in their minds through slavery, is one of the major ways we can continue to contain them.
One of their own, Dubois said that there was an innate division in their culture. A 'Talented Tenth' he called it. He was correct in his deduction that there are segments of their culture that has achieved some 'form' of success.

However, that segment missed the fullness of his work. They didn't read that the 'Talented Tenth' was then responsible to aid The Non-Talented Ninety Percent in achieving a better life. Instead, that segment has created another class, a Buppie class that looks down on their people or aids them in a condescending manner. They will never achieve what we have.. Their selfishness does not allow them to be able to work together on any project or endeavor of substance. When they do get together, their selfishness lets their egos get in the way of their goal. Their so-called help organizations seem to only want to promote their name without making any real change in their community.

They are content to sit in conferences and conventions in our hotels, and talk about what they will do, while they award plaques to the best speakers, not to the best doers. Is there no end to their selfishness? They steadfastly refuse to see that T ogether E ach A chieves M ore (TEAM)..

They do not understand that they are no better than each other because of what they own, as a matter of fact, most of those Buppies are but one or two pay checks away from poverty. All of which is under the control of our pens in our offices and our rooms.

Yes, we will continue to contain them as long as they refuse to read, continue to buy anything they want, and keep thinking they are 'helping' their communities by paying dues to organizations which do little other than hold lavish conventions in our hotels. By the way, don't worry about any of them reading this letter, remember, 'THEY DON'T READ!!!!

Solid Rock is Crumbling

On occasion my family and I visit Solid Rock, this Sunday May 23, 2010 was more than we ever expected. It started out as a traditional Sunday, the choir sang, pass the collection plate , prayer, and then the introduction of the pastor.

It all exploded when Apostle Anderson took the microphone and proceeded to introduce the new chosen members of the church board. As Apostle Anderson began swearing the members in, all hell broke loose. When one of the associate Pastors from the pulpit starts yelling "this is not of god, this is not of god, stop what you are doing, and preach! " over and over again!

Everyone was shocked because it looked like a fight was going to break out from the outburst but Anderson kept on making his announcement while members looked in awe! While this disruption was going on a half the church walked out. Several members tried to regain order and approached the associate pastor and asked him to leave, but he was not having it!

This went on for 10 minutes when a male member of the church came and hugged the appostle as he was preaching. Several Ushers stepped up and removed the man from the pulpit. The Associate Pastor grabbed a microphone and started spilling the beans. That the church was in foreclosure and the only way that the bank would continue to help Solid Rock if Appostle Anderson only preached. and had nothing to do with the business. Appostle anderson began to preach that if this was his last time preaching that he would go out with a bang. Apostle Anderson stated that if you were with him stand with him good, and if not then they need to leave!

Apostle Anderson finished what he had to say dropped the microphone and left the stage like Chris Rock.

Apostle wife Tonya grabbed a microphone and started saying that evil was against her husband, and that "he was not himself". Through all the rants and raves nothing could prepare the congregation for Tonya calling three women out in church... I am not sure who they were or what they did, but when she called their names they jumped up and looked like they were ready to fight!

The last straw for me and the member sitting next to me when several members began yelling to come and pray, one lady looked at me and said " that's it," got up and left.

Now the Church's name is Solid Rock, as we get into the car and we are driving home we heard Ashford & Simpson- SOLID AS A ROCK, WOW!

Maybe there was a message in seeing the church fall on their knees, although as me and my family was leaving that church, we asked the question will Solid Rock be there next week?

I felt this was something that needed to be said, what was done in the dark appeared in the light... Faith in god is what will pull you out

The low down termination of Thaddeus Matthews Show

I think the way The Thaddeus Matthews Show was terminated by KWAM on April 30, 2010, was sneaky and quite underhanded that Legacy Media Memphis would breach his contract and act if they had a reason to do it... Since I started listening in January, Mathews had been stating that he had been paying $1250 per week for the last two years to broadcast his daily radio show. Matthews stated that his payments were made to George Bryant President of Legacy Media Memphis owners of KWAM.

I have my own opinion as to what happen on this subject and I think Matthews brash and no holds barred attitude rubbed many people the wrong way. This is what helped to contribute to the weekly rate increase to $3000 per week. The power move was suppose to make him fail, but instead of the struggle of making the payments Matthews listeners rallied behind him and began making donations to help. The number of commercials that he was airing increased as well!

I believe that what truly was the last straw for KWAM, when Ben Ferguson was released from WREC. The ideal that they could maintain an audience and still receive that added income from Ferguson was more than they could take. It was no secret that Thaddeus stated that he had acquired a radio station and that he was planning on leaving when his contract expired!

So KWAM said that you were going to quit any way in July, get your stuff and go now.

Now this angered Matthews considering that KWAM was not even on the map until his show started airing. He stated that the Arbitron ration showed that his show had beat every talk show during the 4-7 time slot including every thing on his KWAm including all national shows.

Matthews claimed that at the end of his show on Friday, Byrant returned to the station with a show termination letter and copies of his commercial spots in a envelope. The meeting if that's what it is to be called became very tense partly because he had a contract that ends in August and partly because Bryant took a check from Matthews on Thursday for $1000 from a new advertiser knowing that he planned to end the show the next day.

Matthew intends on suing KWAM because he has a contract and their reasoning does not hold water. Matthews said that he can now prove that KWAM and George Bryant conspired to breach his contract and this is why he is suing Bryant and Legacy for $500,000 in damages.

Derrick Stokes you should receive the dumbest criminal award

Derrick Stokes should receive the dumbest criminal award for still being in Memphis. How do you get a second chance at freedom and only get as far as the Relax Inn on Third?
The man has managed to get sentenced to life and walk out of the Jail twice and he could not make it past the state line! He was on the run for 30 days before he was caught the first time. The second time it was less than a week.

So it was not enough for his father and brother who tried to help him by getting him a room. But his dumb ass brother goes down to 201 poplar complaining about how he was arrested and finds out that he has another warrant against himself. So he gets arrested again!

Now Bobby Partee tells where his brother is, and now him and his father are locked up with a $250,000 bond. Why did'nt his father and brother get him a bus ticket or since they were helping him, why not just put him in the trunk of the car and take him to Mexico?

Its sad that this whole family should receive the award!!!!

An Army doctor is under investigation after questioning on YouTube whether President Barack Obama is U.S.-born — then disobeying orders to report for duty in Afghanistan. He is willing to throw caution to the wind and say that I don't care, kick me out...

Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin failed to report to Fort Campbell, Ky., on Monday, showing up instead at his old job in a clinic in the Pentagon, Lt. Col. Christopher Garver, an Army spokesman, said Wednesday. Lakin was reassigned immediately to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington while the investigation is under way.

Though officials in Hawaii verify that Obama was born there, so-called birthers claim he was born outside the United States and is ineligible to be president. Lakin says he wants to see the birth certificate as proof Obama is his commander in chief and thus that the deployment order for Afghanistan is legal.

Lakin is under investigation for his failure to report for deployment and for conduct unbecoming an officer.

A Greeley, Colo., native, Lakin said in a video posted on YouTube that he was an 18-year Army veteran "choosing to disobey" orders he says are illegal, including an order to deploy to Afghanistan for a second tour. He said he was doing so at "great peril" to his career and future and "inviting my own court-martial."

A court-martial is only one of the punishment options, and among the handful of other known birthers in the military, some have merely received administrative reprimands.

On Monday, Lakin showed up for his job as a flight surgeon at the Pentagon clinic that is attached to a Walter Reed medical brigade, Garver said. His commander, Col. Gordon Roberts, summoned him to Walter Reed and told him he was being reassigned.

Hawaii Health Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino issued statements last year and in October 2008 saying that she's seen vital records that prove Obama is a natural-born U.S. citizen. But the state said last month it was still getting between 10 and 20 e-mails seeking verification of Obama's birth each week, most from outside Hawaii.

A few of the requesters continue to pepper the state Health Department with the same letters seeking the same information, even after they're told state law bars release of a certified birth certificate to anyone who does not have a tangible interest. Responding wastes time and money, officials have said.

Both Fukino and the state registrar of vital statistics have verified that the Health Department holds Obama's original birth certificate.

What a fool that this Lt would jeopardize his career and 18 years in the Army for the ideal that he would challenge the president being a natural born citizen. An Attorney Phillip Berg was one of the first people to come up with this bright ideal that Obama was not born in the US. He even sued and his case went all the way to the Supreme Court and they denied his claim, stating that his case had no merit. Even with the notion that Obama was born in another country, his mother was born in this country... That means that he would have dual citizenship.

Okay lets forget all that / lets just say that Obama had an Epiphany that he would one day become the first black president. So he had to cover-up his going to college, forge his passport papers and get several top rank officials to agree with hims as children so that when he would assume power he would have all his i's dotted and his t's crossed!

The truth of the matter is that there are several people who believe that they have to get the president impeached. Not for the traditional reason but simply because they do not like how he is running the country. These childish attempts push the president out of office just make me believe that we still have a radical form of racism!

Why are they so mad, he only passed the health care bill

Now after months of preparation the President has the votes, and he passed the the Health care bill into law. The new law has incited some people to a violent behavior.

How can any one spit on a congress man because the congress man voted for the bill? Now to make matters worse several people have left Threatening voice mails to people in congress. Don't the know that threatening congress members is a Federal Offense? Any person who looses his sense of reality and goes to that extreme deserves to be locked up!

8 years of Bush and you could hear a pin drop from all the people complaining about his piss poor job! I am a little confused at how after 1 year so many are claiming that he is doing a bad job and they are asking to impeach the president. What for? No one can give a definitive answer but I have heard he a communist/ socialist. So if he wants to see the country fail where is he going to live at?

I've listened to several conservatives talk show host and how they all have created this imagine of Obama, to the point that he is a idiot. These blow hearts emotions are running so high right now that I live in fear! You see when a group of cowards get together, someone usually gets hurt! so let me ask a silly question if someone gets hurt or killed, will the blood be on the instigators hands? Especially considering they help to create this mess.

Obama has created such fear and hatred that many of these vigilantes want to grab their guns an make a point. Does any of that sound familiar? In the 50's and 60's when the whites did not like some blacks, they would mysteriously disappear with a wink and a grin... Then make statements that they don't know where he went...

Unfortunately no matter how angry you get with whats been done, think about what you are going to do, for what you could get away with yesterday they will lock you up and throw the key away today!

IS PATRICK CICI AND OTHER BARTLETT NARCS ROBBING DRUG DEALERS?

Patrick CiCi the Bartlett police officer who killed Malcolm Shaw in Memphis on March 11,2010 after storming 1346 Standridge on a search warrant for drugs may have a drug history himself. Sources within MPD state that a call was made from Bartlett Police to Central Records asking them to remove CiCi's expungment records from the system so that the past of the narcotic and SWAT member could not be found.


Sources state that in 1988 and 1999 CiCi was arrested for possession of drugs himself,and that he had his record expunged. It is also believed from sources on the street that CiCi and Shaw were not strangers to each other and that CiCi may himself be involved in drug dealing.

CiCi who lives in a appraised home valued at $279,000 at 8785 Gainsway in Germantown also has mortages on 7 other homes according to Memphis Daily News records. those homes are located at 3020 Ruskin mortgage ending 3-1-2039,3965 Pikes Peak mortgage ending 4-1-2035,563 Herring mortgage ending 4-12-33, 4944 Bending Trail mortgage ending 7-1-2039, 1100 Tatum mortgage ending 10-1-2035, 3547 Orchi mortgage ending 10-1-2034, And 3587 Townes mortgage ending 10-1-2034.

The Townes address which CiCi had utilities listed in his name in 2003 is located in an area known as Nutbush which is a area known for drug trafficking and which is also just 2 miles from the Standridge address. Many on the streets wonder how this Bartlett Police officer has been able to afford all these homes on a police salary. I have to wonder why on 2 properties CiCi's wife Gina has to give him power of attorney over the properties.

But the biggest question is why CiCi and other officers were conducting business within Memphis city limits. The search warrant states that Bartlett Police were told by a confidential informant that Malcolm Shaw was storing large amounts of marijuana at the Standridge address. Bartlett Police according to the warrant wired the informant on March 8,2010 and sent him to buy drugs. The warrant states that the informant purchased 13.3 grams of marijuana and stated that large amounts of marijuana was seen in the house.

On March 9,2010 at 6:09 Judicial Commissioner Rhonda Harris signed a search warrant for Bartlett Police and the raid by SWAT members of Bartlett Police took place in Memphis the following day. The report that Shaw met CiCi which according to witnesses on Standridge at the door with a gun in hand and was killed there is a lie. When I entered the house on Friday March 12,2010 portions of Shaw's brain's was being swept off the floor of Shaw's bedroom and as the pics I have posted here shows Shaw's blood stains also on the bedroom floor. The house was torn apart but no drugs were recovered by the out of bounds cops.

Tennessee law states that the officers of Bartlett only have jurisdiction 1 mile from there incorporated city limits so why were the Bartlett Police conducting an investigation and raid within Memphis city limits?. I spoke with Shelby County Sheriff Mark Luttrell on Friday who states that all the officers involved had special commissions given by his department that allows them to go all over the county, But the Sheriff states that the commissions were meant to used by the officers for crimes that originate in the city of Bartlett.

Attorney Javier Bailey which represents the family has received information from another local attorney whose name will not be revealed at this point that there are affidavits in place for a case that states that certain Bartlett Police are operating in Memphis robbing drug dealers and that many of search warrants that have been used by Bartlett Police have been signed by Rhonda Harris.

So is it possible that CiCi and his gang went to Shaw's home to rob him and steal drugs? Is CiCi able to afford 8 mortgages because he in fact is the drug dealer? It is clear that Bartlett police didn't really do a good job at checking out Shaw or they would have known that he has been living in the family house for several years with no MLGW,and no transportation, Is this the lifestyle of a drug dealer?

Another question that must be raised is how after only one business day with no witnesses from Standridge street interviewed District Attorney Bill Gibbons was able to state that the shooting of Malcolm Shaw was justified?

Later this week I will be meeting with Congressman Steve Cohen taking with me hundreds of letters and signatures requesting that he ask U.S. District Attorney Eric Holder to start a federal investigation into the murder of Malcolm Shaw and into Bartlett Police. CiCi surely you didnt think that just because you closed down your Facebook page that a pic of you couldn't be found did you?

Missing Woman Found Dead under Hotel Mattress

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The body of a Memphis woman missing since January was found Monday under the mattress of the hotel room where she had been living.

On January 27, 2010 Sony Millbrook was reported missing to the Memphis Police Department after she failed to pick-up her children from school. Officers were notified after family members received a call from the school that Sony had not picked up the children from school.

Family members advised officers that they checked the hotel where Sony Millbrook has been residing and she was not there. The family indicated no one was in the room. Sony had been staying at the Budget Inn room 222 at 1533 East Brooks and was last seen there at 7:00 am by a staff member who advised officers the room had been locked out today for lack of payment but all of personal belongings were still inside the apartment. Officers contacted the Budget Inn to verify this information via telephone.

The case was assigned to the Missing Persons Bureau for follow-up investigation, however due to the nature of the incident the case was reassigned to Homicide in February. A Homicide Investigator conducting a follow-up went to the Budget Inn, and spoke to two clerks and a security guard. The investigator learned that Ms Millbrook did not make a payment after January 26th and her belongs were boxed up and the room released for rental. The family had been there on the 27th and 28th and removed items from the room. The room had been rented three times since January 29th till February 4th.

Homicide Investigators located Millbrook's boyfriend, LaKeith Moody, and interrogated him during the course of the investigation and later charged him with a gun violation. He is currently in Mason, TN being held on a federal gun charge. Moody remains a person of interest in this case.

On March 15, 2010 Homicide Investigators were called to the Budget Inn room 222 where the body of a female had been located under the bed, after a report of bad odor was reported in the room. The body was identified as Sony Millbrook and it is apparent that she was the victim of a homicide. The cause of death is not being released at this time.

The bed in which the victim was located is a metal box frame which sets directly on the floor and the box springs and mattress set inside the metal frame. The room had been rented approximately 5 times and cleaned by the hotel staff numerous times since January 27th.

DID BARTLETT POLICE VIOLATE THEIR JURISDICTION TO ENFORCE A DRUG HIT?

On Thursday morning at 1346 Standridge in North Memphis a van load of Bartlett police dressed in swat clothing and masks invaded the blue colored house killing 42 year old Malcolm Shaw.

According to eye witnesses Bartlett police who were out of their jurisdiction stormed the house armed with a SEARCH WARRANT. The witnesses state that officers attempted to use a large pick tool to open the steel door. When the door did not open a ram was used on the pick like object and the steel door opened. The eyewitnesses also state that there was no knock and announce just forceful entry and that all the officers in their swat gear went to the front door and no one to the back. The picture of the front window with the stuff animals is where Shaw was sleeping.

The eyewitnesses state that the Bartlett police at that point used the ram to force the locked wood door open. The witnesses go on to state that when the first officer went through the door the steel door closed shut again forcing the officers to again have to use the pick to open the door. during this short period of time eyewitnesses state that that hear gun fire and that by time the other officers entered the house Malcolm Shaw lay dead in his boxers.

Some local media sources reported that Shaw met the officers at the door with gun in hand, But that is totally untrue Malcolm Shaw was shot in his bedroom as the picture i took inside the bedroom proves as blood stains can be seen.

From the front door which Bartlett police entered to the bedroom is less then 10 feet and I do not believe that Shaw attempted to shoot the Bartlett policeman AKA Patrick Cici but that the officer entered the house to do just what he did kill Shaw and dropped a weapon on him.

It is my belief that the reason that Bartlett police did not notify Memphis police is because the death of Malcolm Shaw was a hit. Their is no doubt that at some point Shaw who family and friends state was living his life as a hermit in a house with no utilities and no vehicle surviving now off odd jobs and grass cutting had at some point sold drugs. But I believe that Shaw and Cici knew each other.

Patrick CiCi who according to Memphis Daily News records has 8 mortgages and lives in a $279,000 home in Germantown supported by his police salary once lived just 2.5 miles from the Standridge address. MLGW records show that in 2000 he had utility service at 3547 Orchi. Orchi street is known to be one of the dope tracks in the Hollywood section of North Memphis. Is it possible Shaw who had asked several elderly neighbors during the week of his death to pray for him had something on CiCi?

CiCi also has mortgages at his present home located at 8785 Gainsway in Germantown, 3020 Ruskin, 3965 Pikes Peak, 563 Herring, 4944 Bending Trail, 1100 Tatum, and 3587 Townes.

The search warrant which was left inside 1326 Standridge which I found on Friday morning shows that the warrant was obtained at 6:09 pm Wednesday evening and signed by Judicial Commissioner Rhonda Harris after being presented with information by a detective R.M. Christian. Legal minds that I have spoken with since this tragic event state that Harris should have questioned Christian about jurisdiction before signing off on the warrant,and that even though a Judicial Commissioner signed the warrant Bartlett police still did not have the right to be on Standridge street.

Lets look at the reasons that Harris and the Bartlett police violated jurisdictional protocol. Reading the Commercial Appeals website some sought to use Tennessee Criminal Code Title 40-6 to justify Bartlett being able to serve the warrant. The code reads "The magistrate issuing the warrant may empower any law enforcement officer to execute the warrant anywhere in the state". But what was not stated in the CA is that this section of the code is speaking on arrest warrants. A officer of the law has the right to arrest any criminal in the state that has an arrest warrant but does not have the power to search property unless in his jurisdiction unless that law enforcement person is one who has county wide jurisdiction such as the Sheriff's department, or state enforcement powers such as the TBI, Highway Patrol.or a federal agency.

There are other questions that also need to be answered such as how did Bartlett police obtain their probable cause? State law requires that to get a search warrant their must had be reason to believe that drugs where at the 1346 Standridge location within 5 days of the issuing of the warrant. So did Bartlett police set up surveillance of the house, or did they buy drugs at the house? either of which would have been a violation. Bartlett which is another city having its own charter and form of government would does not have the right to police within the city limits of Memphis.

Another question is what would Bartlett police have done with Shaw and the drugs if any had been found? With the crime taking place in Memphis they could not take him or the evidence to Bartlett. Another question is when did Shaw sell drugs in Bartlett and without a car how did he get there. And if Shaw was a big time drug dealer why was he living in a house with no MLGW and had to fancy car and rims

It is my belief that Patrick CiCi is a dirty cop and that it was his intent on Thursday to kill Malcolm Shaw. The mere fact that Shaw was seeking prayer gives me to believe that he was going to die. How is it that this Bartlett police officer can afford to pay 8 mortgages on his salary while his wife Gina is a stay at home mom? Is the real drug dealer Cici? In checking Gina Cici's SS# 415-47-XXXX it has also been used under the name of Vicki Valentine in Bradford Tennessee, just one of those things that make you go hmmmmm.

As for the gun, friends and neighbors state they have never seen Shaw with a gun, Is it possible that CiCi had a drop gun ready to make it appear as though Shaw came at him with a gun and how did the other officers allow themselves to get locked out? Now isn't that convenient?

The Justice Department needs to launch an investigation into this matter and seized the dispatcher's communication between the officers from the time they left Bartlett until the time they arrived on Standridge... Surely the dispatcher knew where they were going.

IS LARRY GODWIN COVERING UP FOR HIS SON?

According to sources within the Memphis Police Department Officer Anthony Godwin son of police director Larry Godwin was involved in a 3-4 car accident on Thursday of last week where he left the scene with his father's help.

Sources say the accident took place on Jefferson near the Med. its said that after hitting the cars Godwin who is stated to have been into called his father who sent his assistant Mike Shearin to the scene. Shearin following orders advised the dispatcher to disregard the LT. making the scene. The dispatcher advised Shearin that he had a patrolman's rank and couldn't disregard a supervisor.

Sources say that no traffic car made the scene,No accident report was taken and that Anthony Godwin was taken away from the scene by Shearin and taken to Lakeside. Information is that Director Godwin made the scene and advised the accident victims that OCU would take care of the damages.

Sources state that Anthony Godwin has a serious drinking problem and that he was arrested last year in Bartlett using his undercover name and when it was discovered who he was the incident was covered up by Bartlett police.

Isn't leaving the scene of a accident a crime for normal citizens? Isn't Larry Godwin's aiding his son aiding and abetting thought that a criminal? Larry Godwin stated last week that it's his goal to rid MPD of all of it's thugs,Well what about the one at his house? Will A.C. look the other way, of course he will.

COGIC SOURCES STATE THAT LOCAL OFFICIAL REMOVED FOR ROBBING GOD

Sources within COGIC state that Dickerson L.S. Wells pastor of Bethel COGIC here in Memphis who also serves as a trustee of the national organization was asked to resign his position of superintendent By Presiding Bishop Charles Blake after it was found that Wells had diverted church funds for his personal use.

As Superintendent here in Memphis Wells was the highest ranking official of the national church having control of church funds and properties. Its said that Wells diverted a $20,000 check belonging to COGIC for his own personal use.

Sources state that Bishop Blake flew into Memphis several weeks ago and ask the stealing preacher to step down. There are those within COGIC who will seek to have Wells removed as a national trustee,But since he was elected by the General Assembly only that body I understand can remove him.

Plus do I really have to worry about these easy targets that you keep locking up, or the easy targets that you can not pick up! 48 people lost their job for a rape that did not happen?

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The owner of the security company that hired an accused rapist is speaking out about having to lay off most of his staff. Kroger was Security Point Protective Services largest client, but they fired them after guard Geryl Hill was charged with raping a customer.

Both Kroger and Security Point Protections Services are devastated for the young victim and her family. Also, both regret that a successful seven year partnership has resulted in nearly 50 people losing their jobs.

The alleged actions of 31 year old Geryl Hill has impacted a family, shoppers, and now destroyed the company he worked for, Security Point Protection Services, owned by Huston Atkins.

Police say Hill raped a 25 year old woman after he caught her allegedly shoplifting a toothbrush and a tube of toothpaste in the Kroger at the corner of Poplar and Highland.

Hill was an unarmed security guard for Security Point, a company that employed 48 people. Kroger was the the company's only client.

"I had to layoff all my employees," said Atkins. "We were ordered by the Kroger company to vacate the premises."

Kroger announced it was terminating the security contract with Protections Services on Wednesday.

Kroger Spokesperson Joe Bell says the company will use an interim company while it looks for a permanent replacement.

"Our concern first and foremost is our customers. What we didn't want is someone feeling unsafe in a store if they saw a certain security guard or know they worked for a certain company."

Bell says Kroger will review ways to increase security checks on security guards, but Atkins says the state's security licensing system needs to be re-evaluated. He says the state was in the process of revoking Hill's license.

"If a license is being investigated or potentially attempted to be revoked, then that company should be notified of that," said Atkins. "In this case, there was no notification."

In an economy that forces a woman to shoplift a toothbrush, Atkins is now devastated to put his entire workforce out of a job.

"The families of the 48 employees lost their job with four hours notice."

I think their are parts of this story that are being left out, first the woman said that she was stopped in the store, but did agree to have sex with the man if he let her go home. Then when she went home she then called the police. Where is the rape??? Was it going to be a conspiracy to commit a rape? This really does sound quite flaky, lets just wait and see what really happened, because I believe their is more to this story than what is being told!!!

3 cops busted in corruption case

MEMPHIS, TN - Three Memphis cops were busted by the FBI on Friday, February 26, 2010, in a police corruption case that took MPD Director Larry Godwin by surprise.

Three of his officers, including a veteran of the force, are charged with taking thousands of dollars in bribes from a local nightclub owner in exchange for information and protection.

The FBI picked the officers up Friday for questioning. During their interviews, all three admitted to taking payoffs from the club owner. They accepted the bribes from last September up until this week, grabbing the cash while on duty and in uniform.

"I'm fed up with it," Director Godwin said during a news conference at the U.S. Attorney's office just hours after he received word of the arrests. Godwin says he was at a retreat with other top law enforcement officials when he got the news, and he was both shocked and angered by it.

Lt. Tim Green, a 24-year veteran of the department, along with Patrolman Chris Crawford and Patrolman Mike Young face federal bribery and extortion charges.

"I've said that before I retire," Godwin told reporters, "I will rid this department of criminal activity and thugs. And I'm sick of it because it overshadows the hardwork of every good officer in this county."

U.S. Attorney Lawrence Laurenzi says Crawford and Young were paid $100 a pop and Lt. Green received more than $1,000 every time they paid a visit to the club.

Laurenzi says the officers would get paid for "cleaning the lot", forcing patrons to leave the parking lot after the club closed. They also notified the club's owners about police raids and an ongoing OCU investigation. And Lt. Green is accused of falsifying police reports to cover up crimes at the club.

The information and money were usually traded in the club's bathroom or office, and most exchanges were recorded by the FBI on audio and videotape.

Federal investigators say Lt. Green received 11 payments since October, totaling $8,000.

Officer Crawford accepted 14 payments, totaling more than $1,400.

Officer Young received 27 payments, adding up to more than $2,600.

The cops' bribery scheme was discovered while the FBI was conducting an investigation into the club's activities. Their source inside the club, according to investigators, was an individual who was brought in for questioning in September. This person claimed to be a silent partner in the nightclub with a $15,000 to $20,000 investment in the business. That source then began working as a manager at the club and provided federal investigators with most of the information contained in the criminal complaint.

With the arrests of Green, Crawford and Young, this brings the number of Memphis Police Officers accused of wrongdoing in recent months to 23.

"We understand that the community expects and they demand," says Laurenzi, "that there not be corruption in law enforcement. Everybody up here understands that good and effective law enforcement starts with honest law enforcement."

"I'll tell you this," says Director Godwin, "you can send this message: you come on the Memphis Police Department and you think you're going to commit criminal activity, we will lock you up.

Lt. Green is suspended from the MPD with pay. Officers Crawford and Young both resigned. All three have bonds set at $10,000. When released, they'll be subject to home detention and electronic monitoring.

The club owner faces no charges at this time and federal investigators won't identify the nightclub involved, saying it's an ongoing investigation.

Is the Pastor pimping the church?

Ever Pastor has a story to tell about where they came from, and how God directed him to preach the word. I believe that some Pastors were blessed with the calling from God, although I have heard some stories about some men and women of God that makes me wonder who actually called them to preach, was it God or ???






I have been a member of someones church most of my life and that is how I came to this conclusion that some Pastor are Pimping the members of their church. Of course calling the Pastor a Pimp may not be a good thing, but if the shoe fits then maybe he must wear it.

The headline news is that some members of several congregation have stepped up and spilled the beans. The book "Pimps In The Pulpit" gave you a detail summary of how the Pastor was pimping his Church from the Pulpit and how it was happening everyday. Some people can not see the forest for the trees but their is no excuse for some church members not seeing the subtle signs, "that they are being pimped"!


Lets first look at how a pimp lives his life, I mean the traditional pimps stays in a nice house, he dresses nice, drives a Cadillac and keep a pocket full of money, while constantly being flocked by a group of women he calls his hoes. Please remember that the money the hoes earned payed for all of his worldly goods.

Now I have seen some great men of God and I have nothing to say about them except keep up the good work! Although I have seen some men of God where I thought to my self hmmmmm. Now lets look at our men of God and see how they live, they own a nice house in most cases the church pays the house note, they dress very nice, drive nice cars and some churches even pay their car note, and for some pastors they receive a six figure salary, and they are always surrounded by loyal members of the church who is willing to do anything and everything to help the man of God get exactly what he says the church needs .... Does some of that description sound familiar?


This might be a tell tell sign, if you tithe for years and hit a rough spot in your life and need help and the church says they can only give you a dime when you need a dollar, that sounds like pimping to me baby!

When the Pastor preaches a sermon for hours to support the church wanting you to give your last dollar, so that God can bless you... I don't know about you, but that sounds like you were Pimped!

So please remember that sometimes the best lie is the truth! If it looks like, sounds like, and smells like..... it might be!

Greed is helping more Churches into Foreclosure

The Pastors of several churches around Memphis has pulled their churches into foreclosures. So my first question is how did this happen?

The Pastors response is that "God told them to do it". Naturally when God tells you to do something he only has the best thought for you in mind, right? Would God give you something to day only to take it away from you tomorrow?

Maybe it was not God that you were talking to, it could have been another powerful God "called Greed"? You see when these pastor makes thousands of dollars a month with a few hundred members they feel that with thousands of members that they could make 10s of thousands of dollars a month.

Unfortunately this is starting to become a common site around Memphis where churches are bellying up from strapped debts acquired from building a new church. The Pastors visions of grander are just that and now they are having to back track and move back to their original church home. Nothing is more demoralizing to have something taking from you because you did not think things through. I wonder how does the Pastor keep a straight face with the church members after they realize he may have stretched the truth?

Okay their is a moral to this story, "Pastors I think that you have to rationalize who is talking to you", because if God talked to you, do you really think you would be on the news explaining why you failed?

Old white Man kicks young black guys ass!

Since this video showing two men fistfight on an Oakland AC Transit bus hit the internetwebs, a few things have happened. For starters, the female who shot the video, granted CBS 5 an interview.

The fight started, according to the Iyanna Washington who whole captured the fight on film, after the white man asked the black man for a shoe shine. Then, as these charged events tend to go, a fight ensued.

“The black guy was drunk,” Washington went on to presume. “The white guy was…on some kind of drug.”

She goes on to say that the cops arrested the old man who beat up the younger man. When asked to describe the incident in a word, she semi-jokingly responded, “Oakland.”

What a joke, considering that several of the black people on the bus incited that black man to get his ass kicked. Several times the white guy told him he don't mess with me boy. Although you can hear the agitators hyping this guy up. So when does the law permit you to protect yourself? You see if the first guy had not have threw the first punch, their would not have been a fight. I know this is no laughing matter but did someone feed the black guy Wheaties this morning for breakfast? Surly when he woke up this morning he knew then he could not fight... Maybe he was looking at the gray hair and heard the man say that he was 67... That might have been just what he needed to get in a brawl with someone!

Anyway what truly starts the fight is " I see tough guys like you and I slap the shit out of them". Now maybe, just maybe that might have been a indication to leave this guy alone.... The nerve of all those instigators talking about "what" like they were going to fight. After the first punches were thrown all these pity seekers talking that ain't right...

This has got to be the reason that these young guys carry guns. Maybe that is why they are willing to shoot first and fight later.

When is going to far, going to far?

A Clarksdale family says police went too far during the arrest of a family member, and they say the video they shot proves it. It all started with a traffic stop and ended with more than half a dozen arrests.

I could never imagine back in 1990 when Rodney King was arrested for resisting arrest what would have happen if the video cameras would not have been rolling.

The situation that is happening here went to far and they just expected those guys to shut up and be quiet on their own property.

Unfortunately 2 wrongs don't make a right, maybe the guys should have just shut up and kept their mouths closed. Although if you are not willing to stand for something. you will fall for everything!

Now when this is all said and done these charges what ever they will be will fade to black and disappear. Although I am certain that some lawyer will exercise is option to sue!!!

270,000 found in spare tire during traffic stop

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- Tennessee drug enforcement agents found more than spare change when they cut into a spare tire.

Drug Task Force agent Mike Hall is quoted by the Chattanooga Times Free Press as saying agents found $271,020 hidden in the spare in Albino Lara's car after stopping it for an improper lane change Tuesday.

Hall said Lara let agents search the vehicle after he was pulled over on Interstate 75 in Bradley County.

He said Lara denied the money was his and said he didn't know how it got into his tire.

Lara was held for Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents for violation of immigration laws.

"Just Busted" making some people angry!

These people that operate this website are making money off of the misfortunes of others. Taking advantage of people in a suffering state is about as immoral as can be. I like several others below have been falsely accused by my ex-wife and arrested on charges that were later dropped. My name was printed in a website however, not this one...an actual website that prints news not just trash. They didn't print anything saying the charges were dropped on me. Nor do they print that for anyone else. How is it fair to print people that are charged, but no print their convictions or overturning. Aside from the fact that this infringes on a citizens rights.

So after I read the comment I decided to responded to the comment. Unfortunately for the 20 people that was arrested below, sorry! Just so you know anyone and everyone is Innocent until proven guilty... Let me put a little clarity to this irate individual who does not like people being displayed on Just Busted or any other publication that shows who was arrested! Because they were arrested, many a people want to see who got in trouble! How many times have you rode by and saw a cop with someone pulled over and you slowed down and was rubber necking to see who it was in the handcuff?

Here is a piece of information that you may not have know, but once you are arrested the initial arrest will always be displayed on your record unless you get the item expunged from your record! Even if you are found not guilty or the state dismisses the charge, it still shows on your record!

For you individual who get speeding tickets but go to traffic school so that the ticket does not effect your insurance. Any cops who pulls you over can still see any tickets that you may have received, even if they were dismissed.

Unfortunately it is what it is, and that's that, get over it!
