High winds caused over 50 flights to cancelled


The intensity of the thunderstorms and high winds of more than 100 mph winds at the airport in Dallas, TX caused over 50 flight to cancel.



The National Weather Service posted flood and flash flood warnings from Texas to Ohio, with tornado watches in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas.





Their is currently a search for a 14-year-old boy apparently swept away by floodwaters as he and a friend played in a creek. The friend was able to swim to safety and said he saw the boy get sucked into a drainage pipe, according to a Fire Department news release.

Hundreds of people have been forced to evacuate their homes because of More than 6 inches of rain drenched areas around Dallas.

These storms are dangerous and if you can not see the road dont try to drive through the water.
