The Blind Side is a true story of Michael Oher as a homeless African-American youngster from a broken home who is taken in by the Touys, a well-to-do white family who help him to live up to his potential. The Touys taking in Oher immediately help to change his life and give him new direction, but the presence of Michael Oher in the Touy family help to bring the family closer as a unit. The family goes through ups and down but they face it together.
