Memphis lose to Kansas

The game was nip and tuck for the first half. Although the second half the Tigers were on a mission to win and built a seven point lead. The Jayhawks just would not give up and kept fighting to get back in the game.
Memphis had several chances to win the game, but just could not hit a free throw down the stretch. With just over two minutes left in the game, Kansas was down nine. But made several key plays to set pull the game within 3. Then Mario Chalmers hit a 3 to send the game into OT. With Dorsey out of the game because he filed out, the Jayhawks made the plays and won 75-68.

Memphis rolls pass UCLA

Memphis beat UCLA 78-63 in a very convincing manor. The 38-1 Tigers continue to roll pass their opponents, while leaving the doubters saying the next team will beat them although they only have one more team left to conquer to win the national championship and that is Kansas.

One of the most dynamic moves of the night when Westbrook made a steal and was driving to the hole on Rose for an obvious 2 points and out of no where CDR pins the shot on the boards and the Tigers go back down to score.

Chris Douglas-Roberts was outstanding for Memphis, scoring 28 points on 9 of 17 shooting. Derrick Rose scored 25. Joey Dorsey was equally impressive with his 15 rebounds. During post game interview Rose said he could sense the UCLA getting winded so he knew he had to push the ball and not shoot jumpers. The key was to get to the line, and it worked.

Coach Calipari said "This is a dream team,"and every now and then when I think I have seen it all, one player will come down and do a moves that awes him.

Of course Memphis has done something no other team in history has ever done and that is won 38 games. If they win the National championship they will be considered one of the best teams in the history of the sport.

Women teachers sleeping with boys

Court are cracking down on women, especially teachers, who have sex with under-age boys. In the past few months at least seven women, four of them teachers, have been charged or sentenced.
The flurry of prosecutions follows the sex-abuse scandal in the Roman Catholic Church. Experts say that the trend reflects a growing recognition that sexual abuse of boys can be just as serious as that of girls. However, the courts are reluctant to punish women as harshly as men convicted of similar crimes. Whereas male abusers of girls routinely receive sentences of 15 to 20 years, women often avoid jail.
“Many people in society feel boys should want sex and it’s not harmful, and girls should not want sex and it is harmful. “The reality is, in both cases it’s illegal, it’s harmful and it’s wrong.”
The recent prosecutions of teachers follow the celebrated case of Mary Kay Letourneau, a primary school instructor whose affair with a boy she met when he was 12 produced two daughters. Letourneau, now 42, finally married the boy, who is now 21, after serving seven years in jail for child rape.
This month Debra Lafave, 25, a middle-school teacher in Florida, avoided jail by striking a deal that will put her under house arrest for three years for having sex repeatedly with a 14-year-old pupil. Sandra Geisel, 42, was sentenced to six months in jail for having sex with a 16-year-old pupil in upstate New York. Margaret De Barraicua, 31, will spend a year in prison after being found with a 16-year-old remedial student in her parked car behind their school in Sacramento, California. A fourth teacher, Kimberly Ann Cordrey-McKinney, 32, was charged with having sex with a 16-year-old pupil after authorities discovered incriminating text messages.
Nicole Barnhart, 36, a teacher from Colorado, is facing sexual assault charges after being discovered with a 16-year-old pupil she said had “begged” her to have sex with him.

Move over, Mrs. Robinson. The new public enemy is the bespectacled babe who teaches our kids math in the classroom and sex in the parking lot. Dozens of female teachers have been caught with male students in recent years, and the airwaves are full of outrage that we're letting them off the hook. The statement of double standard" and "slap on the wrist" are common when dealing with woment having sex with boys. "Why is it when a man rapes a little girl, he goes to jail,""but when a woman rapes a boy, she had a breakdown?"

Lee Hamilton Endorses Obama

Lee Hamilton endorsed Barack Obama for the Democratic nomination for the presidency. Lee Hamilton the top of the heap among foreign policy elders. He is likely to be particularly influential among Indiana's Democrats who go the polls May 6.
Hamilton called Obama's foreign policy positions "pragmatic, visionary and tough." He stressed Obama's ability to unify the country while also expanding the Democratic base, noting, Obama strongly appeals to the restless, practical, non-ideological, results-oriented Americans who will ultimately be decisive in choosing the next president."

Hamilton said that he asked the question, ‘What kind of leadership does the country need at this particular juncture in its history?’ We've got enormous challenges both domestic and foreign. So I support the election of Sen. Obama for several reasons. He has the best opportunity to create a sense of national unity and to transcend the divisions in the country. He's a person that strikes me as one who seeks the politics of consensus. I believe the political skill most needed in the country today ... is the ability to bring people together; not to drive them apart."
Hamilton continued, "Driving people apart is relatively easy to do; bringing them together is very difficult to do. He's got the best chance to start fresh, change and inspire the country in his march to a stronger and more perfect union." Hillary, did you hear that?

Wyoming Governor endorse Obama

Gov. Dave Freudenthal has endorsed Barack Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination and pledged his superdelegate vote for the Illinois senator at the party's national convention in August. Freudenthal cited what he believes in Obama's. My belief is that Senator Obama is the one candidate in this race who possesses the skills to resolve issues in the economy while continually working on uniting the country. Freudenthal said he remains impressed with both candidates and will support Clinton if Obama does not get the democratic nomination. Obama has now secured the endorsement of three of Wyoming's five known superdelegates. John Millin, chairman of the Wyoming Democratic Party, and national committeeman Rep. Peter Jorgensen, D-Jackson, also have endorsed Obama.Nancy Drummond, the state party's vice chair, and Cynthia Nunley, a national committee woman, have yet to publicly support a candidate. Obama also will receive seven pledged delegates compared to five for Clinton.Overall, Obama leads Clinton with 1,632 delegates, compared to 1,500 for her, according to the latest Associated Press tally. Obama leads Clinton in pledged delegates earned in primaries and caucuses, while Clinton leads in endorsements from superdelegates.

Don't Microwave your life away

Over 90% of American homes have allowed the microwave oven to become a part of their daily lifestyle. With its new found versatility, the microwave has become a replacement to such cooking appliances as the gas and electric cooking ranges. Millions of people who are ignorantly sacrificing their health in exchange for convenience. Lets me know that they have no Ideal of the hazardous effect of the microwave. The Soviet Union banned the use of microwave ovens in 1976, note the key worded banned, why?

The purpose of this article is to show proof that microwave cooking is not natural, nor healthy, and is far more dangerous to the human body than anyone could imagine. I could write a intense log of scientific explanation of why anyone should not use a microwave. Although after a few minutes of reading the average person gets bored! So when ever I write any thing I always think of "KISS", what does that means "Keep It Simple Stupid". So I cut straight to the chase and present my own study. You will need 3 plants, you will water one plant with tap water, the second with distilled water and the third with microwaved water. Water each plant daily and before the week is over the microwave watered plant will die! Of course we don't have the anatomy of a plant, but the microwaved water lost it nutrients with the serge on energy from being heated. It is astonishing that our government allow microwaves to stay on the market? Of course this is the same government that allows the sell of cigarettes and they know of the hazardous effects of tobacco...Regardless of what has been "officially" released concerning microwave ovens, I have personally stopped using the microwave based on my research. Simply put what I know now, will save me from what I did not know then... Now its your turn to do your own study to prove the microwave theory and after you do, don't microwave your life away!
