Wyoming Governor endorse Obama



Gov. Dave Freudenthal has endorsed Barack Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination and pledged his superdelegate vote for the Illinois senator at the party's national convention in August. Freudenthal cited what he believes in Obama's. My belief is that Senator Obama is the one candidate in this race who possesses the skills to resolve issues in the economy while continually working on uniting the country. Freudenthal said he remains impressed with both candidates and will support Clinton if Obama does not get the democratic nomination. Obama has now secured the endorsement of three of Wyoming's five known superdelegates. John Millin, chairman of the Wyoming Democratic Party, and national committeeman Rep. Peter Jorgensen, D-Jackson, also have endorsed Obama.Nancy Drummond, the state party's vice chair, and Cynthia Nunley, a national committee woman, have yet to publicly support a candidate. Obama also will receive seven pledged delegates compared to five for Clinton.Overall, Obama leads Clinton with 1,632 delegates, compared to 1,500 for her, according to the latest Associated Press tally. Obama leads Clinton in pledged delegates earned in primaries and caucuses, while Clinton leads in endorsements from superdelegates.
