Dr. Laura "N-Word" Rant

Sometimes you just have to give people enough rope and they will hang themselves. You see when Don Immus called those black girls "nappy headed hoes", he did nt think any thing was wrong, I am sure he said worse, just never on air...

What about when Duane "Dog" Chapman's when a tape was released with him using the N-word in a racist rant. Now because he was behind closed doors, know one knew that he thought of blacks as niggars, although when he was found out and his reality show was cancelled the world got to see how sorry he really was.

Now comes Dr. Laura Schlessinger and she has apologized after a shocking rant on her radio show this week during which she said the n-word 11 times over the course of five minutes.

In conversation Tuesday with a black female caller who was complaining about her white husband's racist friends and their use of the word, Schlessinger said:

Black guys use it all the time. Turn on HBO and listen to a black comic, and all you hear is n****, n*****, n*****. I don't get it. If anybody without enough melanin says it, it's a horrible thing. But when black people say it, it's affectionate. It's very confusing.

After a break, the caller said she was appalled by Schlessinger's use of the word.

"Oh, then I guess you don't watch HBO or listen to any black comedians," she said. "My dear, the point I am trying to make...we've got a black man as president and we've got more complaining about racism than ever. I think that's hilarious."

Schlessinger and the caller then got into an exchange about the use of the word:

CALLER: Is it OK to say that word? Is it ever OK to say that word?
DR. LAURA: It depends how it's said. Black guys talking to each other seem to think it's ok.
CALLER: But you're not black, they're not black, my husband is white.
DR. LAURA: Oh, I see, so a word is restricted to race. Got it. Can't do much about that.
CALLER: I can't believe someone like you is on the radio spewing out the n***** word, and I hope everybody heard it.
DR. LAURA: I didn't spew out the n***** word!
CALLER: You said "n*****, n*****, n*****" and I hope everybody heard it.
DR. LAURA: Yes they did, and I'll say it again: n*****, n*****, n***** is what you hear on HBO.
[Crosstalk]
DR. LAURA: Why don't you let me finish a sentence? Don't take things out of context. Don't NAACP me, leave them in context.

"If you're that hypersensitive about color and don't have a sense of humor, don't marry outside of your race," Schlessinger said after hanging up with the caller.

Now they all realized what they did was wrong and apologized! Will someone tell me why after they violate our trust, that we have to accept their apology?

The Winner is Revealed ~ America's Got Talent 2010

AMGT took entertainment to new levels this year. The level of competition was truly worth watching. I was a big fan of Dan Sperry, I enjoyed his unique since of humor wrapped with his dark imagination for magic.

Then at one point I thought that Fighting Gravity had a definite chance for winning the million dollar prize, but when they made that big mistake they lost their chance. Now I was awed at Prince Poppycock, he can sing but his elaborate costume design coupled with his brilliant stage presentation showed me why he was in the finals... Now after I heard Jackie Evanch I could not see her winning AMGT!.

Let me be the first to say that Michael Grimm was the dark horse for me. Sharon Osbourne husband Ozzie had picked him to win... Did I miss something??? Maybe it was the right thing to do, but from my stand point I had a hard time understanding why she did not win.

Lets just say this AMGT league of talent this year will be the most successfull

Nothings change since I first saw it

Over forty years ago I first watched the Good, the Bad and the Ugly and For A Few Dollars More, and I am surprise that I still can watch these movies over and over and nothing changed. I still the same feeling as if I never saw the movie before.

Maybe its just me, but the build up to the climatic gun fight still keeps me riveted to my seat. I am sad to say the only thing that has managed to change is my age! Now I am almost 50, but I can say safely say that people will still be watching these movies 50 years later and expressing the same sentiments....

The intensity of the trumpet playing and the excellent choreography of the sceens surrounding charactors continues to keep it a on going hit that will never die with time!

9 Stereotypes Of Black Women That Aren’t Always True.

lazy-man

The 9 stereotypes of black men, are true, but it depends on which black men you are talking too...

1. All Black Men Are Well-Endowed

This one is bound to start some discussion. Upon googling ‘Black men big penis true?’, you’ll find a range of references to an unemployed white man from Brooklyn named John Falcon, who’s apparently the owner of the world’s largest.

Research however will tell you that there is in fact no truth to the debate about differences in size across the races. It is certainly not a guarantee that the next black man you meet will outdo John Falcon in the size department but in terms of a continued discussion about this myth, we’ll leave it with you.

2. They Don’t Like To Work

While Black men suffer from some of the highest rates of unemployment in America, psychologists will confirm that this is in no way related to choice. Men in general are hardwired to want to provide for their families and so will pursue any means possible to achieve that goal. ‘Not wanting to work’ is a negative stereotype of black men that is certainly not true in the grand majority of cases of unemployment.

3. Black Men Are Extremely Sexually Virile

Can we keep this one as it is? What do you think?

4. Black Men Are Great Athletes

Any major sporting event features an array of muscular, testosterone-filled black men. But, ‘Look at them! Now look at your man! And back to them! Now look at your man!’

5. Players

Popular urban culture and Hollywood have perpetuated the myth of the black man as a player. This is in fact not true of black men in particular. All human beings must actively resist polygamy in their lives because of the pressures of evolution, which tell us to procreate with as many people as possible, and society, which dictates that we remain faithful to our chosen partner.

6. Black Men Like White Women

Now this one depends largely on who you ask. Interracial marriage is on the rise in America and the perception that black men like white women may stem from the fact that it is becoming more socially acceptable and therefore more common. In the end, a man and a woman will be together for reasons of personal compatibility, not race.

7. Black Men Don’t Take Care Of Their Children

A good black man will be a wonderful father to his children no matter what the circumstances. The trick is to avoid those who might take the easy way out of hard circumstances – of these there are plenty and they’re all shapes, sizes and colors.

8. He’s Been In Jail

This stereotype is like a bad joke gone worse. Urban and pop cultures have played on this perception to the point that those who unfamiliar with black people maintain some crazy ideas about our world.

9. Good At Dancing

The only reason people become known for dancing well is that one good mover can overshadow the 5 others who just escaped through the fire exit to avoid being pulled onto the dance floor.

How can they speak for a black man?

Nothing frustrates me more, than to hear some Ivory League know it all stand-up on his soap box and act like he knows black people.

Unfortunately their are some whites in the world that feel that they can stand up and tell the world that they are tire of black feeling like they got the short end of the stick. At times if you listen to them, you would think they were black for just a split second when they are telling blacks to stop using the race card...

To intentionally provoke a individual with the intent to get a adverse reaction is not cool at all. I seldom see white's that are pushed and prod ed to get a reaction and then justify their actions.

Blacks need to understand that some whites do things all for the good of what ever point that they are trying to make. Gary come back, why, so that we can finish grilling you and get our point across. So since he did not come back now Mr White man can give you the evolution of blacks and how they really act! What was really sad is that they had a black female on the show that looked like she had already been bought and sold!
So you know who she was not defending

Famous Women that were men

I have found several woman who's characters performances were exceptional, except they were men. The ability to become a woman one minute and then a man the next made me say "WOW". As I think back one of the first men to dress as a woman and make it socially acceptable would be Flip Wilson, he came up with a character called Geraldine. Who knew that she would become one of his most popular characters and make the man very rich?

Then came Dustin Hoffman has "Tootsie" He had a bright ideal that if he could not get a job as a man he would do it as a woman... Is it me or did he make a cute woman? As a matter of fact he even won a Oscar for his performance!

Robin Williams made "Mrs Doubt Fire" believable, so much, to the fact that you wondered, how did he do that?

In Living Color was funny but when Jamie Fox came up with Wanda and her class statement "I'll rock your world" Wanda put the show on the map. Plus it was the start to Jaime Fox taking the world by storm.

Then came Martin Lawrence and his character "Sha Nay Nay", her straight out of the Ghetto made attitude me "MARTIN" an instant hit!

Martin Lawrence as "Big Mama" was so big, that they had to make a sequel... Most men love to take women's dresses off, but Lawrence has made his millions by putting them on!

Then came the genius of Tyler Perry, the day that he came up with "Madea" was the day that he became a billionaire. His ability to bring the wisdom of the old and inject it into your soul of the youth today has pushed him to a level high in the stratosphere of respect among his peers.

Now I love Ving Rhames performance as "Holiday" but no matter how I tried to see him as gay, I just could not grasp the ideal! Because of his previous roles as a mans man, but if you must see a movie check "Holidays Heart", there will not be a dry eye in the house.
