I can understand the US shock after the Muslim doctor kills 13 on the army base. Can anyone say that they truly did not think that this could happen?. Alright I was a little surprised but lets face reality, has there not been a day when someone at work as pissed you off? I mean no matter what you do, where you go, or when you are doing it, they show up! An they manage to work their magic on you and have you pissed off to the point that you want to fight or maybe, just maybe kill them??? I am not surprised, for we all have that gunman within us, but we learn to suppress the urges to want to kick that ass or possibly do worse.
Unfortunately the same cage that contains our aggression and keeps us from reacting, can be the same cage that releases that unreleased emotion and catches the world off guard when it gets away. That gunman within is the person that once he gets started, he just can not stop... He kills all that he sees and turn the gun on himself or force them to kill him. I have noticed one thing about the gunman, he does not care anymore and his one last action is to kill all he can before he dies. As silly as it may sound the gun man within has already made peace with himself and he knows what the final out come is going to be, that he is going to die the minute he start shooting. It like the light bulb that you turn on and it blows that second!. Basically, it is what it is!
I think that we just have to look at life for what it is today, our society as evolved into a much more violent version of what we once were. Think about this in the past 2 years do you know that we have had over 20 situations just like this? I believe in my heart that we have not seen the worse yet! Unless we figure out why we are having the out burst of anger each and every month of the year it will only get worse. For the gunman within is still their, you just have not turned on the switch!
