T.I. sent back to prison he has 11 Months left

ti_575
Hot 107.9 was at the Richard B. Russell Federal Courthouse today where T.I. was sentenced to 11 months in prison for violating his parole as a result of his drug arrest in L.A.
“I screwed up,” said the ATL rapper (born Clifford Harris, Jr.), wearing a three-piece gray suit. “I screwed up bigtime, and I’m sorry. I want drugs out of my life. If I can get treatment and counsling I need, I can beat this. I have been sincere in my message to kids, that guns, gangs and drugs threaten your life, and I mean it. I’ve been a kid. I’ve lived the same life that those kids have. As I discovered in talking to my PO I had many problems from my childhood. Now I am down to the disease of addiction. I need help. For me, my mother my kids. I need the court to give me mercy. Judge, don’t send me back to prison.”
Despite T.I.’s plea, U.S. District Judge Charles Pannell Jr. said the rapper “has had about the limit of second chances.”
“The worst thing is this case was an experiment,” said Pannell, alluding to the rapper’s previous unprecedented sentence of a year and a day in prison for his 2007 arrest on federal weapons charges.
R&B star Monica and Tiny’s wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle were among the people in the courtroom. The court was so packed that Def Jam executive Kevin Liles, Grand Hustle’s Jason Geter and members of T.I.’s family could not get in, although the rapper’s sister was eventually allowed in.
People taking the stand included Officer James Polite, who testified how T.I. helped talk a suicidal man safely down from a Midtown building on Wednesday.
T.I. reportedly has two weeks to report to prison. It has not been determined yet where he will serve his time, but his legal team requested that it be in Georgia and not in the federal prison in Arkansas where he previously served time.
Judge Pannell said that decision was up to the Bureau of Prisons, but added he would recommend T.I. serve his time in Georgia.
While still expressing hope for T.I., U.S. Attorney Sally Yates recommended that T.I. be sent back to prison for two years.
“Through his community service he reached kids and made a real difference,” she said. “But after the halfway house, he violated the law again, and submitted diluted urine samples, which coincide when he admitted to the probation officer he had been using ecstasy during that time.  He lied a number of times upon arrest about the ecstasy found in his pants. While he was telling kids to obey the law, he was breaking it. Our office saw this agreement as positive and proactive, but there has to be a significant consequence for undermining the agreement.”
Steve Sadow, T.I.’s lawyer, had asked that Harris be given at least six months of home confinement during which he would attend an inpatient drug rehabilitation program.
“We did not find a single case out of 247 in 10 years of simple possession, where the probation violator went back to jail,” argued Don Samuel, who presented evidence from the witness stand, under Q and A, a format the defense asked for and the judge agreed to.
One of T.I.’s lawyers, Ed Garland, explained that the rapper had been taking oxycodone after undergoing 7 root canals and 2 extractions following his release from prison in May.
“This summer Harris worked a grueling 24 [city] tour schedule and began drinking a drink of cough syrup and soda, which gave him the same feeling as his old pills which he ran out of,” explained Garland. “He started off the wagon, like an alcoholic. That’s what happened to this young man , so he failed his commitment, with drugs that relaxed him in his schedule.”
Following his sentence, T.I. emerged from the courtroom holding a Bible and exchanged hand shakes and hugs with supporters and family.

Bishop Eddie Long say you are not on the down low...

Now that the news that Four Georgia men have filed a lawsuit  filed in DeKalb County, alleging that Bishop Eddie Long used his position as a spiritual authority and  to coerce young male members and employees of his New Birth Missionary Baptist Church into sex.

Long  did adamantly denies the allegations, but from the suit  Long seem to have used a pattern and practice of singling out a selecting a distinct group of young male church members and using his authority as Bishop over them to ultimately bring them to a point of engaging in a sexual relationship.

The pastor took one plaintiff, Anthony Flagg, 21, on overnight trips to a half-dozen American cities in recent years, Flagg’s suit alleges. Long shared a bedroom with him while engaging in intimate sexual contact including kissing, massaging, masturbating and oral sexual contact.
.
Another Plaintiff  Maurice Murray Robinson, 20, said that long took him to Auckland, New Zealand, in October 2008 for his 18th birthday and engaged in oral sex with him, Robinson’s suit alleges. That while in New Zealand  Defendant Long regularly engaged in sexual touching, and other sexual acts with Plaintiff Robins

Long at one point in time frequently denounced homosexual behavior. A 2007 article in the Southern Poverty Law Center’s magazine called him “one of the most virulently homophobic black leaders in the religiously based anti-gay movement.”

One of the nation’s top black preachers.who has more 25,000 members are shocked! Many of his church members are giving Long their support. While a select few are saying that they could see the writing on the wall, with those tight suits on and riding around with those young men in the car, knew that it would be just a matter of time.

Unfortunately I am sadden by this act that 4 young men and their is a rumor of more to come forth to say that they were also dealing with this down low brother!.

Maybe Long used his money, power, and prestige to allegedly seduce them boys to give up that booty! I think that only time will tell, but

There is a man that we all know, who uses his money to get young women, he gives them gift, money, takes them on trips and exposes these young women to the world where they gain much notoriety, and nothing is said.

Now Bishop Long if you didn't do it great, but you currently have 4 young men saying that you seduced them with money, trips and gift.

You see Bishop Long the I think that the only difference in you and Hugh Hefner is that he likes young girls and you like young boys!

To see the spoof on Eddie Long click here you will laugh...

Dr. Laura "N-Word" Rant

Sometimes you just have to give people enough rope and they will hang themselves. You see when Don Immus called those black girls "nappy headed hoes", he did nt think any thing was wrong, I am sure he said worse, just never on air...

What about when Duane "Dog" Chapman's when a tape was released with him using the N-word in a racist rant. Now because he was behind closed doors, know one knew that he thought of blacks as niggars, although when he was found out and his reality show was cancelled the world got to see how sorry he really was.

Now comes Dr. Laura Schlessinger and she has apologized after a shocking rant on her radio show this week during which she said the n-word 11 times over the course of five minutes.

In conversation Tuesday with a black female caller who was complaining about her white husband's racist friends and their use of the word, Schlessinger said:

Black guys use it all the time. Turn on HBO and listen to a black comic, and all you hear is n****, n*****, n*****. I don't get it. If anybody without enough melanin says it, it's a horrible thing. But when black people say it, it's affectionate. It's very confusing.

After a break, the caller said she was appalled by Schlessinger's use of the word.

"Oh, then I guess you don't watch HBO or listen to any black comedians," she said. "My dear, the point I am trying to make...we've got a black man as president and we've got more complaining about racism than ever. I think that's hilarious."

Schlessinger and the caller then got into an exchange about the use of the word:

CALLER: Is it OK to say that word? Is it ever OK to say that word?
DR. LAURA: It depends how it's said. Black guys talking to each other seem to think it's ok.
CALLER: But you're not black, they're not black, my husband is white.
DR. LAURA: Oh, I see, so a word is restricted to race. Got it. Can't do much about that.
CALLER: I can't believe someone like you is on the radio spewing out the n***** word, and I hope everybody heard it.
DR. LAURA: I didn't spew out the n***** word!
CALLER: You said "n*****, n*****, n*****" and I hope everybody heard it.
DR. LAURA: Yes they did, and I'll say it again: n*****, n*****, n***** is what you hear on HBO.
[Crosstalk]
DR. LAURA: Why don't you let me finish a sentence? Don't take things out of context. Don't NAACP me, leave them in context.

"If you're that hypersensitive about color and don't have a sense of humor, don't marry outside of your race," Schlessinger said after hanging up with the caller.

Now they all realized what they did was wrong and apologized! Will someone tell me why after they violate our trust, that we have to accept their apology?

The Winner is Revealed ~ America's Got Talent 2010

AMGT took entertainment to new levels this year. The level of competition was truly worth watching. I was a big fan of Dan Sperry, I enjoyed his unique since of humor wrapped with his dark imagination for magic.

Then at one point I thought that Fighting Gravity had a definite chance for winning the million dollar prize, but when they made that big mistake they lost their chance. Now I was awed at Prince Poppycock, he can sing but his elaborate costume design coupled with his brilliant stage presentation showed me why he was in the finals... Now after I heard Jackie Evanch I could not see her winning AMGT!.

Let me be the first to say that Michael Grimm was the dark horse for me. Sharon Osbourne husband Ozzie had picked him to win... Did I miss something??? Maybe it was the right thing to do, but from my stand point I had a hard time understanding why she did not win.

Lets just say this AMGT league of talent this year will be the most successfull

Nothings change since I first saw it

Over forty years ago I first watched the Good, the Bad and the Ugly and For A Few Dollars More, and I am surprise that I still can watch these movies over and over and nothing changed. I still the same feeling as if I never saw the movie before.

Maybe its just me, but the build up to the climatic gun fight still keeps me riveted to my seat. I am sad to say the only thing that has managed to change is my age! Now I am almost 50, but I can say safely say that people will still be watching these movies 50 years later and expressing the same sentiments....

The intensity of the trumpet playing and the excellent choreography of the sceens surrounding charactors continues to keep it a on going hit that will never die with time!

For a few dollars more, Final duel

9 Stereotypes Of Black Women That Aren’t Always True.

lazy-man

The 9 stereotypes of black men, are true, but it depends on which black men you are talking too...

1. All Black Men Are Well-Endowed

This one is bound to start some discussion. Upon googling ‘Black men big penis true?’, you’ll find a range of references to an unemployed white man from Brooklyn named John Falcon, who’s apparently the owner of the world’s largest.

Research however will tell you that there is in fact no truth to the debate about differences in size across the races. It is certainly not a guarantee that the next black man you meet will outdo John Falcon in the size department but in terms of a continued discussion about this myth, we’ll leave it with you.

2. They Don’t Like To Work

While Black men suffer from some of the highest rates of unemployment in America, psychologists will confirm that this is in no way related to choice. Men in general are hardwired to want to provide for their families and so will pursue any means possible to achieve that goal. ‘Not wanting to work’ is a negative stereotype of black men that is certainly not true in the grand majority of cases of unemployment.

3. Black Men Are Extremely Sexually Virile

Can we keep this one as it is? What do you think?

4. Black Men Are Great Athletes

Any major sporting event features an array of muscular, testosterone-filled black men. But, ‘Look at them! Now look at your man! And back to them! Now look at your man!’

5. Players

Popular urban culture and Hollywood have perpetuated the myth of the black man as a player. This is in fact not true of black men in particular. All human beings must actively resist polygamy in their lives because of the pressures of evolution, which tell us to procreate with as many people as possible, and society, which dictates that we remain faithful to our chosen partner.

6. Black Men Like White Women

Now this one depends largely on who you ask. Interracial marriage is on the rise in America and the perception that black men like white women may stem from the fact that it is becoming more socially acceptable and therefore more common. In the end, a man and a woman will be together for reasons of personal compatibility, not race.

7. Black Men Don’t Take Care Of Their Children

A good black man will be a wonderful father to his children no matter what the circumstances. The trick is to avoid those who might take the easy way out of hard circumstances – of these there are plenty and they’re all shapes, sizes and colors.

8. He’s Been In Jail

This stereotype is like a bad joke gone worse. Urban and pop cultures have played on this perception to the point that those who unfamiliar with black people maintain some crazy ideas about our world.

9. Good At Dancing

The only reason people become known for dancing well is that one good mover can overshadow the 5 others who just escaped through the fire exit to avoid being pulled onto the dance floor.
